EU Green Week: Green jobs for a greener future
EU Green Week will be held from 29 May to 2 June with the theme of "green jobs for a greener future".
Organised by the European Commission's DG for Environment, the EU Green Week is an annual opportunity to debate on European environmental policy. Every year, the event attracts policymakers, environmentalists, stakeholders and other interested parties from Europe and the whole world.
From 29 May to 2 June, it will deal with how European policies are creating green jobs and contributing to a sustainable growth. It will also highlight the demand for new green skills in many professional sectors.
Moreover there will be other partner events and actions across Europe (see programme) and people are encouraged to take part in person or even get virtually involved in a wide range of on-line activities.
