Workshop on participatory green city financing
Organised by the city of Wroclaw (Poland) and the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLE), the 22nd "Breakfast at Sustanability's" focusses on ideas to transform cities into better, greener places to live. The main question that will be treated is how to finance these initiatives through a participatory approach.
Is it fair for public projects to rely on crowdfunding platforms? What kind of projects get proposed and funded? Does "greening" cities have to be expensive? Do we value more the products and services we know the price of?
If you're interested in any of these questions, come join the 22nd Breakfast at Sustainability's and discuss on tools to implement promising initiatives for sustainable cities.
Be there by 9:30 a.m. to enjoy coffe and croissants, and stay after the discussion for the sustainable networking lunch at 12:30 a.m.!
To register, contact Claudia Fantini at brussels-office@iclei.org by 7 march 2017.
