Circular Economy: the European Parliament launches a new motion

While the recent package on circular economy has been abandoned by the European Commission, the European Parliament seeks to push the other EU institutions to move forward to a green economy for Europe by launching a motion.

In this motion for a resolution, the European Parliament acknowledges the importance of circular economy for both environmental and economic issues dealt by the European Union. This motion therefore urges the European Commission to act and propose legislative reforms.

Many topics are related to the establishment of a circular economy at the European level, such as ecodesign or waste management, and, in order to meet the environmental objectives of the EU, they all should be part of the next Commission's proposal.
